In line with MOE’s (Singapore Ministry of Education) 2007/2008 syllabus, this book is designed specifically to provide students with intensive practice and revision in the concepts of Algebra at the lower secondary level. Questions have been prepared for students to move from basic to advanced level as they develop their confidence.
At the secondary one level, it covers concepts such as algebraic manipulation, solving simple equations involving one variable, simple linear inequalities and solving problems using Algebra.
At the secondary two level, it covers expansion and factorization of algebraic expressions, solving quadratic equations by factorisation, algebraic manipulation and formulae, simple linear inequalities and solving simultaneous equations.
At the end of each level, there is also an opportunity for the students to self evaluate and list out common errors.
